CV Raman Virtual Classroom
About the Scheme
The Government of Himachal Pradesh launched the CV Raman Virtual Classroom Scheme in 2018-19 on a pilot basis in 08 Government Degree Colleges of District Mandi to address staff shortages and promote flexible teaching and learning practices.
Virtual Classrooms play an important role in the State, particularly in geographically difficult and remote areas where shortage of teachers is a common challenge. The scheme enables students to attend lessons delivered by expert teachers through video conferencing and digital modes.
Under the scheme, classrooms are equipped with Interactive Panels, Video Conferencing Cameras, Microphones and UPS Systems to facilitate virtual teaching and learning.
